Angelique Brunner

Ms. Brunner founded EB5 Capital in 2008 as a response to the persistence of food deserts in communities. As CEO, she provides strategic direction and oversight to the firm. Ms. Brunner is considered an industry expert and a strong advocate for the EB-5 Program as an alternative financing tool for economic development. To date, the company has created nearly 50,000 U.S. jobs while working with families from more than 75 countries
With over 30 years of experience in alternative finance, she is a recognized leader in economic development and impact investing. She is a frequent speaker on purpose-driven leadership and responsible capitalism.
Ms. Brunner is an active global investor and advisor across various industries. In 2023, Ms. Brunner was appointed Director of CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP). She also serves on the board of NOAVC, one of the largest climate-focused investment funds in Europe. In 2022, she received a presidential appointment to the US Trade Representative’s (USTR) Trade Advisory Committee on Africa (TACA). Additionally, she serves on the Board of Trustees for Brown University and on the Board of Governors for Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. Formerly, she served on the boards of public companies Chesapeake Lodging Trust (NYSE: CHSP) and Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK).
Ms. Brunner is a recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from AmeriCorps, in recognition of her national service from the private sector. She holds a BA in Public Policy from Brown University and a MPA from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. During her time at Brown, Ms. Brunner was a first-generation student, captain of the Women’s Rugby team, and a charter member of AmeriCorps.
